the fact that Van Gogh never sold any of his paintings does not make them any less worthy.
if only it had not killed him.
a pity, indeed, to never have gotten to know, that you really are a genius. that also the others (see: ~ the whole art world) think so.

the fact, that we want ourselves to be sold is no surprise. that we need that appreciation. that we need to have what is appreciated by others and to be with those appreciated by others.
but, you see, maybe you will never get to know that you're a genius. maybe they won't ever understand.
fact is, it does not make you any less worthy.
and it never will.
